Abstract:

October 31, 2000, is a memorable day in the history of the Laboratory for Theoretical Computer Science: the day of retirement of the founder and the first Head of the Laboratory, professor Leo ``Leksa'' Ojala. To honour the occassion, this festscrift has been prepared as a collection of articles from Leo's former and present students. It is cordially dedicated to Leo for all his efforts to educate us during the last 30 years.
